Nightly Sat Nam Rasayan® Classes with Student Instructors
On Site at Summer Solstice - No Charge

In the Aquarian Age awareness and self-knowledge are vital to realizing one’s full potential. Sat Nam Rasayan® (SNR) classes open up doors of perception and inner growth while teaching how to serve others. Value in the past came through finding information. Now it is truth embodied in our identity, in our actions, in our shared humanity. The Solstice nightly SNR classes provide an opportunity to learn the basics of SNR and study the Five Modalities, which are required curriculum for all Sat Nam Rasayan® healers. These classes are open to everyone, whether your goal is to heal or be healed.

Student Instructors trained by Guru Dev Singh will teach the core of Sat Nam Rasayan®, The Meditative Mind – the bridge to Sat Nam Rasayan®, and the Five Modalities as part of the 2017 Summer Solstice Nightly SNR® Classes.

The five key modalities of Sat Nam Rasayan® are:
(1) The Elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether)
(2) Forms and Shapes (including symbols, yantras, and patterns)
(3) Dream State (in the realm of the abstract)
(4) Resonance (understanding the impact of one’s actions)
(5) The Art of Knowing

Resonance How we think, actions we take, where we place our attention all have an effect upon our reality. In Sat Nam Rasayan®, we attune the awareness to such an extent that we can know the impact of how we move through the sacred healing space, before any action is taken. The effects of any action may occur in a person, their family, or their environment. Developing this level of subtlety, we can even be aware of whether our presence is working. If ever that was needed, today is the day.

Not only have you discovered states of inner peace and bliss, but you have also become more sensitive to the problems in the world around you. So how do you fix these problems with the meditative mind?

Join Nanak Nihal in “The Meditative Mind – the bridge to Sat Nam Rasayan®,” in order to learn how to heal others, and heal the world around you, using your meditative mind. The target audience for this class is people who have started a spiritual lifestyle and would like to learn Sat Nam Rasayan®. This class will be focused on harnessing our own meditative minds to start to use the healing potential of Sat Nam Rasayan®.
Nanak Nihal Singh, New York. Saturday, June 17, 7:00 - 8:30PM

Art of Knowing Sat Nam Rasayan® is based on shunya, emptiness – zero mind. When we empty ourselves, our level of awareness increases. There is clarity. There is knowing! Through meditation and the deep stability of the healing space of SNR, the meditative mind is operating. Preconceptions drop away. We are where we are!
Siri Simran Kaur Khalsa, Los Angeles, California. Sunday, June 18, 7:00 - 8:30PM

As the first baby of 3HO, she has been practicing Kundalini Yoga since she was six months old. At the age of 18, she became Yogi Bhajan’s personal assistant, traveling, and serving him, wherever he went for 12 amazing and blessed years. Up until 2001, Yogi Bhajan lived in her house with her and her family. This was an incredible and indescribable experience. Besides teaching and healing, she is the proud mother of a beautiful son.

Elements We are made of 5 tattvas, also known as the 5 elements. Each chakra has the elements in varying proportions. The elements affect our state of mind, our body, our lives.  When earth is in balance it supports our stability, groundedness, confidence. When earth overwhelms us, we become lazy, plodding, lacking creativity; or too little earth and we may be spacy or flighty. With SNR, as the elements become more balanced, so does a person’s life.
Hargopal Kaur Khalsa, Los Angeles, California. Monday, June 19, 7:00 – 8:30PM

Hargopal Kaur started Kundalini Yoga in the late ‘70s and knew she was where she was meant to be. Life took a marked change for the better. And then in the ‘80s Hargopal began to study with Guru Dev Singh. While it amazed her and opened up vast horizons, it didn’t make much sense to her at the time. She couldn’t fit it in any of the boxes her mind allowed. So eventually she threw away the boxes, worked on having a meditative mind, and now teaches SNR® in the USA and Canada. Having recently dissolved a major box – that of being a Physicist – she now devotes herself to teaching, providing private sessions, and researching Yogi Bhajan’s teachings.

Beginning Sat Nam Rasayan® Through meditation and specific exercises we will learn how to identify and relate to the sacred healing space of Sat Nam Rasayan®. This approach leads to very deep relaxation, which allows us to let go of knots of resistance. This opens up the ability to live more fully and more consciously. It is a healing approach which can be used for oneself as well as to serve others. Jeffrey Cohen, San Francisco, California. Tuesday, June 20, 7:30 -9:00PM

Jeffrey Cohen, a musician and writer is the Sat Nam Rasayan® representative in San Francisco. He has studied with Guru Dev Singh for more than 16 years. He is a dedicated healer and Traveling Student Instructor with a calming presence. His ability to teach from the heart, his quick wit and vast wisdom make his class accessible to students of all levels and backgrounds. Jeffrey has the uncanny ability to communicate the ancient teachings of Sat Nam Rasayan® making them a vital part of today’s spirituality. His classes are entertaining as well as balancing, deeply informative and very healing.

Dream State With one foot in the dream world and one in the awake, this abstract state of consciousness provides a way to heal in a deeply nonlinear way. The laws of physics may bend, morph, stretch. Dream state is a natural for the artist, the mystic and those who are ready to defy the laws of causality.  Hari Das Kaur, La Jolla, California. Wednesday, June 21, 7:30-9:00PM

Hari Das Kaur was born and raised in the Hawaiian Islands where she was inspired by the Shamanic tradition of Huna and influenced by the healers in her maternal lineage.  It was second nature for her to pursue a career in healing, which began in London with a professional surgical nursing career spanning 25 years.  Hari Das became Yogi Bhajan’s student in 1977 and has been practicing and teaching Kundalini Yoga since then. Hari Das met Guru Dev Singh 37 years ago and experienced his profound abilities.  She began studying Sat Nam Rasayan® with Guru Dev in in 1994, and she knew had found her path and her beloved teacher. In 2000 she left surgical nursing to dedicate her life to the healing art of Sat Nam Rasayan® and the healing of others.  Hari Das teaches at two Integrative Medicine Centers in La Jolla, CA.  She is one of a select few Level III SNR traveling student instructors and practitioners that Guru Dev has designated to teach this precious healing art.

Forms and Shapes The positions and postures we take, the locations where things are in relationship to one another, the shapes of things, all have impact. A square is stable and grounding. A triangle has more flow. How do you feel in triangle pose? Probably very different from how you feel in baby pose. Shapes can support healing. Recognizing when something is stuck, selecting an appropriate shape can promote flow.  Or, for example, recognizing we’re not grounded, a square may bring us into balance. Meherbani Kaur and Guru Mantra Singh Khalsa, San Diego, California. Thursday, June 22, 7:30–9:00PM (Bilingual class English/Spanish).

Guru Mantra Singh Sat Nam, I’m Guru Mantra Singh. I love being at Summer Solstice sharing Kundalini Yoga and Sat Nam Rasayan® Healing with all the people, couples, families, seekers sneakers teachers the young, old and the bold, everybody. When I started practicing yoga in 1971 I was fresh out of the military angry and hurt. When I stumbled into my first Kundalini Yoga class at the college I was hooked, no drug, not anything I had tried to make me feel better worked the way Yogi Bhajan’s yoga did.  It reduced my stress, it healed my body and my mind. It took such a weight off me, I vowed to never, to never to go back to the way I was feeling. I learned to cope in all different ways and when my teacher told me he wanted teachers not students I signed up. I have been keeping up every day in every way like my life depends on it.  I am here to challenge you, bless you, love you and accept you no matter what you have been thru. Now is the time.

In addition to the nightly Solstice classes, there will be two classes taught by Guru Dev Singh Khalsa:
